    Another very good programme. Maybe something of Moody with Eddie Jefferson on the review programme? "Now's the Time" is very fine. There's also a great album that JM made when he came out of Overbrook.."Last train from....", which I remember had Jefferson on it.

      Some of James Moody's finest ever tenor playing can be heard on the wildly exciting 'Hobo Ho' from Charles Mingus's overlooked 1971 album 'Let My Children Hear Music'. I keep trying to get this played on JRR but no luck!

        btw Kenny Barron was in good form on the 4B album ....
