... nurse more gin, and ice, lots of ice

Jon3 has a Loop Collective gig in a mixed bag from the Cockpit Theatre London - best heard through an open window in the back yard with ice bags and drinks eh....

JLU has the BBC Big Band at The Quay; no pbi and not one of this jazbo's fave raves

Geoffrey does drummers tonight; wrong weather and no pbi [if the production unit can not be arsed to put up the pbi, their message is clear innit - up yours it's the weekend]

before Jon3 @ 10pm Laurie Anderson talks performance art and is followed by Deborah Bull discussing Powell & Pressburger ... great night in i'd say

According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Jon3 starts off with some of people's favourite Charlie Hadens. Not sure about that link, Calum - thissun seemed to work:

Loop Collective artists Monocled Man, Wedding Music and Dan Nicholls in concert.

Monocled Man from that session have appeared a few times at my nearest - I wonder what people will make of them.

Catching up like mad now that iPlayer is working.
Haden's base playing encouraged me to plug in my laptop to my hi-fi system. Made a huge difference - must do it more often.

But I felt the critic's references to Haden's underpants, beautiful women and anoraks were redundant and distasteful.
