    Well there's a thing!

Today I have been ironing to Bukka White's "Sic 'em Dogs" etc from 1939. Bukkas cross tuning and rattling slide work makes short work of a heap of T. shirts......

Maybe "Rock Ironing Line" by Huddie would be as good but I dont tink zo.

    BN.

I iron out everyday - that is I iron out stiffness and long term kinks in my frame and posture with yoga exercises. And this is a major opportunity to listen to R3 Weekend Jazz etc. It has been very good so far, JRR, Delta Saxophone, Lucky Thompson . Looking forward to Jon3 this evening - wasn't too impressed with the Necks, was it last week.

By the way, the Hear and Now board seems to have been deserted by the musical experts. May be there is a case for taking it under the Jazz wing? Might get a few more posts!

For the heavy stuff it has to be Dolphy's "Iron Man"....

For the more delicate fabrics, like my '65 tonic mohair...Oliver Nelson's "Steamin the Blues"...

          BN.

And for the stuff that just will not go flat...Elvis..."Steamroller Blues".
