    jon3 14.iii.2011

    Can’t be bothered to type in the name of the band, but I think it’s well worth a listen. I was at this gig;

    IMHO Ray Anderson is a master. I will have to listen to Jon3 on the iPlayer as coincidentally Ray is playing at the Wilhelmena tomorrow night, the Ray Anderson/Marty Ehrlich quartet.

    Something to look forward to on a cold Monday night

      Anderson is the bog's bollocks on trombone. Love his "Big band album" with charts by George Gruntz. The band swing mightily and the whole disc is great fun. "Don't mow your lawn" is something of a ecology classic !
