    Ttrumpeter Roy Campbell's 1991 album 'New Kingdom'(DELMARK DE-456) is a neglected classic.

Roy came over here once or twice and played at places like Cafe Oto, which is where I saw him, accompanied by British players. Youtube footage now seems to have disappeared, but I have found this, which has Paul Rogers on bass - a track from a CD on Paul Dunmall's label:

Roy Campbell, trumpetDaniel Carter, alto sax, trumpet, flutePaul Rogers, bassHamid Drake, drums'Ponticle' from the album BLOWN AWAY by Phil Gibbs, Roy Campb...

Lovely player, nice bloke - he'll be much missed.
