Does SM-P have such a low opinion of listeners not even possessing basic GCSE French that she has to translate "Jardins dans la Pluie" for us? I have no objection to translations of more abstruse languages, but surely we should be given the titles in the original tongue.
However, a more egregious sin was the truly jarring note of seguing Debussy with "Rejoice in the Lord "; I would dearly love to know the thought processes (if indeed there were any) of whoever dreamed that justaposition up.

I tuned in to R3 at around 8:30 Sunday morning, expecting to hear something of a gentle and ecclesiastical nature, only to find another phone-in taking place - so it's not just the weekdays they are desecrating!

Didn't hear it but SMP very excited on Twitter about having played 'Turangalila' ... (?)It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I’m not sure if that is a particularly necessary point to criticise. At least where Breakfast is concerned.
