The problem is that R3 has become increasingly infantilised, so that for much of the day it is a completely different radio station from the one we all used to love.
Bolero was on drive time this evening btw (the one for violin and piano by York Bowen no less).
The show did kick off with a flippin slavonic dance though.

Anyway, AG, "Breakfast" and in particular RC's knowledge and love of music, was an important part of my musical journey, so I am with you there.
I do however, find the current programmes generally very unappealing, and I suspect that they won't achieve their aims.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
I am not a number, I am a free man.
