    Thatcher the radical

At the risk of stirring up the hornet's nest, this I found an interesting programme http://www.channel4.com/programmes/m...ry/4od#3508791

One thing that does come across is what a woolly-minded, self-satisfied individual Neil Kinnock appears to have been... reinforcing what others have said, that The Thatch was fortunate to have low-grade opponents....

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Not sure I could last through that entire programme, Cali. At what point (roughly) does the W**** Windbag enter the fray?

He's in and out all the way through - but in the last 25 mins above all.

Interestingly he is stumped when the programme-maker asks him 'was Britain a worse place at the end of her premiership?'.... the silence seems to say it all... and eventually he says 'with some figures I think I could make the case that it was a worse place'... But he seemed surprisingly unsure...
