Nice one, Anna!

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Take the piss. Very deep analysis. If you've got nothing to say, just be quiet.

What makes you think that humourless, patronising sarcasm like that is appropriate to any sort of discussion?

Sarcasm? SARCASM?? His little noises may be both unpleasant and unwelcome, but please don't dignify such empty, meaningless stuff with the term "sarcasm", which they do not deserve!

So you can't dish out a bit, you just gotta take it? Unless of course it fits in with what the little cadre on here thinks. Hadn't had you down for one of those Cali.

Not a positive light as such, no, but it does at least presume some kind of meaning and an ability to work with language, neither of which I have noted emerging from the Oven.

You're sidestepping the issue, which is about retaining some measure of politeness / rationality, even when 'dishing it out'.
