But you don't do "sensible discussion"
you just trot out the same old nonsense defending evil people
and making ridiculous assumptions about what others believe.......

Sorry but I have to say:

Jeepers creepers, how many times can you guys lurch round the ring in circles with the same old irreconcilable arguments, with no reference to the topic in hand...???

Do you have any concept of how deeply tedious it is to anyone else?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Quite a lot of people seem to think that a war has been won. That things like socialism are gone for ever and that the Neo Con agenda, monetarist economics, the free flow of capital will now hold sway indefinitely.

Nothing is for ever. Almost nobody predicted how quickly the Soviet empire would collapse for instance. The lessons of history are important for all of us. Empires and civilizations come and go, and those at the top have the furthest to fall. The humility that is so badly needed at the top seems to be completely lacking.

To imagine that the world's endless troubles can be solved by following the agenda of one Fleet Street Rag rather than another....well there isn't a name invented for that level of stupidity.

As long as we don't have to get gay married

I have always found that taking oneself too seriously is a recipe for misery and insecurity........ no one really gives a toss what we think anyway

Interesting to see that "Mandryka" has an Amazon reviewer ranking of 1,382,199 with a total Helpful Votes score of 25 of 53.

Obviously, the philistines on Amazon do not have the wit to appreciate such critical nuggets as this apercu re Demidenko's recording of Schumann's Humoreske: "This is big boned, muscley (sic) Schumann playing. What a contrast with Lupu, for example, or Richter. An essential disc by a genius interpreter (sic). "
