    Maybe its just me ?
But I find this bullying , offensive behaviour arrogant and gratuitously rude.

I did think there were revised rules against this sort of thing ?
surely someone who is choosing to ignore several people in a discussion is really not paying attention and should make an exit ?

It's stupid having people on ignore, why not just scroll past their postings, or is that too much of a grown-up thing to do? Oh well, I'm probably on Simon's ignore list as he has chosen to ignore my posting.

we are a small , but select , group indeed
it's probably because you are a raging leftist like the rest of us
and (as i've said before to the dear prof) if only he knew

my children used to do the "ignore" thing , fingers in the ears and singing, but they grew out of it and now are able to have real discussions !

Don't be daft. I'm not going to put you on ignore, am I?

I didn't see your post amongst all the other various quotes and posts of various lengths - which is precisely one of the reasons for using the ignore feature, as it makes every post by those on "ignore" just a simple 2 or 3 line bar that takes hardly any space.

Plus, as I've said before, it reduces the temptation (for me anyway) to respond sarcastically or harshly to any grotesquely ridiculous comment that may appear.

          _+_+_+_+_+_+_+_

As regards your post, which I've now read, I assure you that I'm well aware of how traumatic an abortion can be on a woman. Which is why I've always (as I've said before) had great difficulty taking a specific view on the subject. And which is why I'm not in favour of the left's general approval for abortion on demand and its opposition of anything that makes it more difficult to obtain or at least encourages more and more reflection.

Frenchie, could you please tell Simon to include the link to the original post when he quotes from a post - otherwise we don't know if his quote is selective (leaving out bits that don't support his argument) or accurate.

            Thanks.

(I would address this to Simon, except that he won't see it, so I'm addressing it to you instead)

I haven't really time now, either, but I'm even more sure that it needs to be discussed
How is it possible to have a discussion about anything when you can't see the contributions from people you don't agree with?

he likes to have discussions with himself ! (he can fill in all the gaps using the psychic powers that he uses to listen to Stockhausen without actually HEARING the music !)

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

                        ¡Viva la crisis!
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

I really must get to the doctors as i'm sure there was an over hyped Royal Wedding on TV earlier this year but I was obviously imagining it

Simon, you were asked, very politely, by french frank and by another to include the name of the poster in your quote marks to save people trawling through yards of messages to find the correct one. Perhaps you didn't see that request so I am now repeating it. Thanking you in advance for your co-operation

Missed them. Thanks. Consider it now done.
