Only one Frenchman, to be precise. Eric Cantona.

      Quite, Anna!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

2,000 Maries. You mean 2,000 Hail Marys, not 2,000 French town halls? Or Zappa, 2000 Motels? Well, for that I think you should have at least 3,000 Novenas

Actually, for those that believe, posts such as yours are really quite offensive in mocking faith

The religion is irrelevant. I can imagine being interested in a number of subjects that others would find boring: Gilbert and Sullivan, Jane Austen, Best looking tenors of all time (Juan Diego Florez, whoar), Orthodox Lenten services. I don't mind if others give critical comments on the subject, but just to be totally dismissive is plain rude.

There is no need to claim any privilege for religious discourse, which only gives the Cellinis of this world some justification for complaint. But it shows a total lack of imagination not to realize that religious terms are a way of talking about the human situation.
