I've just discovered this very young American composer (b.1971) whilst looking for more solo cello repertoire.

Not sure what others will make of it but I find his Unaccompanied Cello Suites very compelling in a hypnotic way. They seem to recall some of the Russian Orthodox sounds of Britten's cello suites...
