    2pm-4pm

    Recorded at the 2013 Aldeburgh Festival, the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group are joined by pianist and festival artistic director Pierre-Laurent Aimard, and conducted by Oliver Knussen.

    Their programme includes Britten's Sword In The Stone; Henze's Eastern-influenced Emperor's Nightingale alongside music from Lutoslawski, plus Elliott Carter and the world premiere of a major new piece by Magnus Lindberg.
