    Irreverence/ DreamHouse/ H&N

Following on from Friday's episode of Noise: a Human History on the Gentlewoman's Companion, the discussion of irreverence in Music by the ex-rock musician and composer Steven Mackey and Robert Worby came as a very sane and very welcome relief from artificial restrictions imposed by society.
And by the way the composition Dreamhouse seems a very accessible piece of contemporary music.

I'm sorry to say I didn't enjoy this piece one bit. To me it sounded like something Andrew Lloyd Webber might have composed while on crack.

A little digging finds that he seems to have nicked La Monte's title

Just off to finish my new piece which i'm now going to call "The Rite of Spring" ......... (should get us an audience )
