With the Edinburgh Festival not happening this year, Kate Molleson presents an edition related to the city. She's joined by Scottish crime writer Val McDermid, who discusses life in town at the time of the pandemic. There are home recordings by performers based in Edinburgh or connected to it: violinist Daniel Pioro, double bassist Una MacGlone and pianist Jim McEwan, guitarist Firas Khnaisser and noise artist Ali Robertson and electronic artist Owen Green.
