New Music Show - Sat 28 March: 10pm

From BBC's Maida Vale Studios in London, Tom Service presents music by Dai Fujikura, Ruth Goller, Laurence Osborn, Jim (born Jerrilynn Patton), Christian Mason, Jon Rose and Barbara Monk Feldman performed by the Ligeti Quartet, vocal trio Skylla, pianist Zubin Kanga and percussionist George Barton.

Oops, nearly typed George Benson there!

Lots more about this very interesting-looking programme on the link beneath:

Which gives the content as comprising:

Cassandra Miller, Laurie Spiegel, Kit Downes, Scott Walker, Kate Carr, Morton Feldman, You Are Wolf, Jlin with Holly Herndon, and Blue-Eyed Hawk.
So will it be Barbara Monk or Morton?

Finding that The New Music Show is very "meaty", and by the time I've listened to it a couple of times, together with Freeness, it's time for the next instalment!

Yes - and I haven't yet found a replacement metaphor for "meaty", despite having gone vegetarian!
