Carl Stone and Vicki Bennett at Cafe Oto; H&N, Sat 19/1/19; 10:15pm

Note the slightly later start time - apparently the Met's production of Debussy's two-and-a-half-hour opera takes three-and-three-quarters.

Robert Worby presents electronic music by Carl Stone and People Like Us

The H&N website is coy about what's going to be played, and when "last year" the works were recorded - I think it might have been this event in July:

“West Coast composer Carl Stone was one of the first to plug into the possibilities offered by digital synthesizers, samplers and effects... While Grandmaster Flash and Afrika Bambaataa were flamboyantly promoting sample based hiphop, and John Oswald was openly flaunting …

... in which case, the works might include a selection from Carl Stone(b1953)'s recent double-LP (sic) collection "Electronic Works from the Eighties and Nineties", and The Mirror, by Vicki Bennett(b 1967), who creates Music and Images under the name People Like Us (rather like Jeanneret created architecture under the name Le Courbousier, perhaps?)

Robert Worby presents, in discussion with the two composers.
