The Beeb website writers must be rolling up their trousers, donning knotted handkerchief caps, and eating candyfloss as the waves tickle their ankles on their annual holiday in Morecambe - because there's no details about this week's programme, other than it's shorter by half-an-hour than usual, and contains works from this year's Witten festival of new Chamber Music, so will be a lot better than the insipid orchestral pieces that featured in last week's programme. And because that wouldn't be very difficult (they were about as interesting as watching Andrew Lloyd Webber dry) I'll add that this will probably be one of the highlight broadcasts of New Music this whole Summer.
