Needless to say, perhaps, I am bitterly disappointed that a certain 75th birthday this year doesn't receive a glance. The wuck-fits!!! In fact, it's mostly the same-old same-new. As TR-J puts it. I feel there’s even less sense of ambition, new music-wise.

Although I'd add the Dapne Oram Prom 13 to his JACK 4tet recommendation.

I attended a performance of Haas - Concerto Grosso No. 1 (for alphorns and orchestra) at Berlin a few years ago. It drew on me and in the end I found it haunting.
