    Eavesdropping Symposium; H&N, Sat 14/4/18; 10:45pm

Note the later start, and ignore the website's suggestion of the usual "2 hrs" running time - Geoffrey Smith's programme begins at midnight as usual.

The Symposium on Women & Creativity took place in Oxford House, Bethnal Green over the weekend of 17th & 18th March. Details of what is going to be broadcast over the 75 minutes aren't clear, but, judging from the Symposium Programme of Events, it looks as if Ryoko Akama's performance from the Saturday evening will be included, as well as Freya Johnson Ross and Chrissy Stirling's performance paper from the afternoon.

Music from Eavesdropping - a symposium on female creativity in new music.

Oh, thanks for that, Andrew - not knowing Luisa Miller, I did wonder about a Verdi opera taking over four hours to perform!

If Eve's dropping round I'll let her know about this programme. Eve and Steve.

Following my "Angry Sultanas" last week, when I saw the title of this week's programme, I very nearly called this Thread "Adam's Picking Up", but then saw what the Symposium had been about, and thought better of it!
