    Tom McKinney presents a pick'n'Mix edition of highlights from two concerts given at the University of Birmingham's Cross Currents Festival on 23rd February.

    The Loki Ensemble, conducted by Daniele Rosina perform the World Premieres of Richard Ayres(b1965) No51, resting songs, Michael Zev Gordon(b1963)'s A Short Book of Harmonies; and Ryan Latimer(b1990)' Speaking of Letters and Dancing.

    And the Ligeti Quartet play Cat o'Nine Tails by John Zorn(b1953); the Third S4tet of Alfred Schnittke(1934 - 98); and Sivunittinni by Tanya Tagaq(b 1975)
