A further selection of items pick & mixed from various events at this year's Festival
Christopher Trapani(b1980)'s PolychROME and Carola Bauckholt(b1959)'s Laufwerk ("Drive" - as in computers) from the same concert that featured Ferneyhough's Umbrations as broadcast last week; the Ensemble Modern conducted by Brad Lubman.
Enno Poppe(b1969)'s Gelöschte Lieder ("Erased Songs") as performed by the marvellous Explore Ensemble in their superb concert given in Phipp's Hall on Thursday, 23rd November.
Dai Fujikura(b1977)'s pair of works for choir, Zawazawa/Sawasawa ("Murmuring/Rustling"), recorded at the concert given by the Polish Radio Choir at their concert conducted by Maria Piotrowksa-Bogalecka, with Marimba played by Ria Ideta, on Sunday, 19th November in the Town Hall.
And an improvisation given at a late-night event at Bates' Motel by Double Bassist, Christian Weber and Turntablist Joke Lenz as the last event of the day-long sequence of free events on Monday, 20th.
