At the beginning of the year, as part of the "New Year/New Music" week, CD[as it was then]Review hosted a decent hour-long discussion of new CD releases of contemporary Music - SM-P in conversation with DON with AMcG chirrupping in the background. Since then, such reviews have been relegated to the late-night, H&N slot. This week's chirrup-free programme (another foreshortened edition) is devoted to such reviews, with SM-P in discussion with composer Kerry Andrew. Most of the names are new to me, so I'm interested in hearing what's on offer - and there's a (final?) reminder of Boulez' work promoting younger composers.
