I din't enjoy the Toovey piece at all, thought it just exhibitionistic and boorish. Claire McCue's piece was quite interesting and well orchestrated, though it didn't quite live up to its title I thought. Chris Duncan's piece was yet another forgettable piece of sub-Glass, and I'm afraid wore out my listening capacity for the American work, which came across as quite dramatic in its eccentric kinda way. Wasn't interested enough to follow up with a second helping just about sums up my feelings about most of the "new music" I hear on H&N these days.

I heard the show in the pub, with many distractions as you can imagine. But forgotten it now. hence why I would like to record it. There was a geezer talking in the last major piece and I gather its about him being stuck down a well or something.

fell off my bike after that.

Because of that piece or because of drinking a pint or so in that pub

I would like to have a more artistic reason for my imbalance.
But it could have been the extra half that one always orders.
