    Then to finish up there's:

Closing concert: the first appearance in a decade of the classic line-up of John Tilbury, Eddie Prévost and Keith Rowe, celebrating the 50th anniversary of AMM.

Looks like I am going to have to book a few days holiday and find some sensibly priced accommodation.

The HCMF should have moved to London years ago. If contemporary music is to stand a chance, it needs an audience. Who* is going to travel all the way to Huddersfield, for Chrissake!?

      *Apart from Bryn!

I have only ever attended one HCMF concert, Feldman's For Philip Guston. St. Paul's was not full, but was by no means short of audience members. I don't think Huddersfield has much of a problem attracting new music enthusiasts from near and far.

B&B should be cheap in Huddersfield, and there ought to be Apex tickets available. I might go. Not quite sure where Huddersfield is, but I know it's not in Scotland.

              Its not far from Manchester.
But I guess that isnt much help to a United fan.

I don't think that is the full Programme - at least, I hope it isn't: there's nothing mentioned on Monday 23rd (usually the day devoted to Free events), nor on the Wednesday and Thursday! (And no event timetabled for between Noon and ten o'clock at night on the Tuesday.)

I think it might be the first set of online "special offers", with further events revealed later in the month - either that or the Festival this year has been reduced to just sixteen events over five days.

Complete Programme of events now on sale:

Decisions, decisions - I can't afford everything, and I've already "wittled" it down to well over a hundred quid, which is still a bit steep ...

I suppose I could go without food in November,

                        Again.

I sympathise FHG. I opted for the weekend saver 2 but think i might have to attend concerts on Thursday and Friday too! Plus Manchester for a little Ferneyhough at RNCM!

Anyone else having problems getting the online ticket discount? The Kirklees booking site doesn't seem to think it exists after the first weekend!
