I don't think it is, although there a few dramadocumentisational elements appearing from time to time in what I thought was a rather witty manner the composer would have probably appreciated. I certainly learned a lot about him from the contributions from his associates.

Edit: I should have noted that this was a repeat programme.

I listened - totally fascinating programme
Authoritative and anecdotal, insightful, but not hagiographic. A model of its kind as a music documentary.

Crumbs! I think I remember watching that! Over thirty-five years ago - when (with only three channels to chose from) contemporary composers featured on telly.
