Another unsupported assertion is "most new music isn't repeated". Do you have the figures? No, because what you say wouldn't be supported by them.
As for "certain contemporary compositions which do tax even adventurous listeners beyond the point of endurance", which ones did you have in mind? Let's maybe talk meaningfully about music rather than in spurious generalisations.
