I've just dipped into Sir David Lumsden's funeral on YouTube. Is it just me, or did the temporary digital instrument sound absolutely diabolical?

It wasn't just you. I'd express it as the sound not being like the typical cathedral sound of a Father Willis or Harrison.

It just sounded so "electronic" and yet I believe it's one of Viscount's latest.... And I'm a staunch viscount supporter.....

I wonder if they've somehow tweaked the sound on the recording? First hymn sounds a lot better than I first thought, but other accompaniments still very electronic
