    And free to attend a service, of course, but I don't think that you could get in that much earlier just saying you were going to the service: different entrance doors and queueing even in pre-Covid times.
    All free for city residents, of course.

    We suggested that they offered an annual ticket that we (as residents) could buy and offer to friends who came to stay, but that was not taken up.
    From this (scroll to bottom of page) it seems as you suggest.

      It also says that students (if at a York uni) have free admission, on production of appropriate ID, which is what I would have hoped, but I didn't check!
      I have often mentioned multiple entry to visitors outside wondering about the cost, when I've been passing by, suggesting that they go several times if they are here for a few days.
      The East Window alone is worth several visits.
