Thomas Trotter

It was announced today, St Cecilia's Day, that Thomas Trotter has been awarded the Queen's Medal for Music. He is the 16th recipient, and joins the company of Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Colin Davis, Imogen Cooper, Judith Weir and Bryn Terfel amongst others. Good to see an organist being taken seriously in the mainstream of music.
