Mention was made of the library of webcasts of choral services from Trinity. The organ is a 'classical' mechanical action instrument.

It's a fine instrument, but sometimes struggles to sound 'right' in the core Anglican choral repertory. Listening to a few of these superb webcasts shows how the organ scholars do wonders to make up for it, often by coupling a load of 8' stops together.

Sorry for this somewhat nerdy post; but 'talking organs' is one way to pass the lock-down.

Agree, the scholars do wonders. In its own special period it takes some beating though. Above a link to the complete Bach, gradually being released, played by David Goode with superb notes on every piece within a booklet.

The Trinity Evensongs webcast on YouTube are often preceded by a 35 minute recital videoed in the organ loft, plus a leaflet with details of all the music. An example above. We are totally spoilt. This enterprise is, I'm sure, down to Stephen Layton.
