David Titterington (re)introduced it at the St Albans festival by having the improvisers play 20 minutes of pieces from L'Orgue Mystique in the quarter finals. Thanks to his trying to cram a quart into a pint pot, we were still listening to it at going up to 11, having started at 7.30. To be honest, I could have listened all night.
I find some of the pieces send me into an almost trance-like ecstatic state. Apparently he sometimes had the feeling when improvising that he was watching someone else play. Quite extraordinary.
At the church(where I go quite irregularly), we have the fantastic organist D'Arcy Trinkwon. He had introduced me to this composer, of which, I have the utmost respect for.
