    Good internet organ music station

One of the higher bit-rate (one of the few 320 kbps) internet radio stations on the pre-set iTunes classical list is

    Organlive

It's been on a few times in the kitchen !

That page also shows other ways of listening.

Good mix of programming, imo, based on experience so far http://www.organlive.com/schedule

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Great site, Calibs, even if U.S based and biased. Details of players and instruments all listed, and I have 320 kbps. Not bad. 32' stops on bass woofer currently driving Ardcarps bonkers. Headphones a must, I think.

Yes - I checked this morning at home and the standard bit rate via iTunes is indeed a great-sounding 320kbps

        OP duly amended.

Great way to escape the burbling of Service at around 12.16 today, while making a great double strenth Flat White

        Bracing!

But within the last 30 minutes there were selections from King's College and Durham Cathedral!

Great website, just discovered it, and thank-you for that. Headphones not required- I have a great set of Bose speakers. (Not cheap. )

Now St Paul's Cathedral! (Okay it's 'Lost Chord'. )

          Currently Duruflé at Salisbury.

Sorry ardcarp, a bit unfair perhaps?

Two more great 320 kbps organ music stations

As well as organlive (mentioned above), and from the same 'family' of stations, I've found (and have just been knocked out by the sound quality of) two more stations:

            Positively Baroque

To hear the 320 kbps stream through iTunes (and hence on my big hi fi) this is the link

            to paste at iTunes-File-OpenStream...

            The Organ Experience

This is now a preset station streaming at 320 kbps on iTunes-InternetRadio-Classical

            .

NB Organ Live is also preset on iTunes but streaming at 192 kbps. To get the 320 kbps I pasted this link

            at iTunes-File-OpenStream...

            (see http://www.organlive.com/play )
