    Sunday Worship from Temple Church

An excellent Sunday Worship yesterday morning from London's Temple Church, featuring the Temple Singers.

Music included Leighton's responses, Britten's Festival Te Deum and Haydn's 'Achieved is the glorious work'.

    Worth a listen.

    And with a script, too!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Yes, a very clear, beautifully read (if Temple-centric) account of Stephen Langton's role in bringing King John to heel. Much to be preferred to the average 'sermon'.

The Temple Singers were superbly directed by 'the new man', Roger Sayer. If anyone is interested, the TS consist of regular male members of the choir plus select[ed] women!
