Listening to the repeat it's very striking how much better the diction comes across on the broadcast than it did in the cathedral itself, and I was only three rows back! At the time I thought the words of the psalms were quite hard to discern, but on the radio they are much clearer. In addition what to me was the quite "claggy" sound of the C-Hart is really very acceptable on the broadcast.
Perhaps the clouded diction was more to do with the fact that the service took place in the Nave....
Loved the accompaniment to the psalms, both at the time and on the repeat. DD a very worthy successor to the legendary Paul Morgan.
