My bad: of course it's CB-H to take on the weekday Breakfast slot. More opportunities for Adam and Simon Hoban to make the weekend Breakfast slot their own when Martin Handley is away/can't face a weekend in Salford (delete as appropriate).
This is all very fascinating and probably most informative to those who live in what is clearly a parallel universe to the one I inhabit but would some kind soul be good enough to explain to this country bumpkin : what on earth are you talking about? Like Mr Bernard Bresslaw, I only arsked.
Is it the initials that are confusing you? They are Radio 3 presenters.
Sara M-P = Sara Mohr-Pietsch
CB-H = Clemency Burton-Hill
Breakfast and The Choir are programmes on Radio 3. Sara M-P is apparently going to be presenting the latter and no longer presenting the former.
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Sara Mohr-Pietsch, currently being wasted on Radio 3's early-morning weekday Breakfast programme, is moving to become the presenter of the Sunday late afternoon programme The Choir. Like other presenters of Breakfast, she has irritated many Forumistas by the inclusion of Tweets, chatter and (what is perceived to be) waffle; as an intelligent and highly-gifted communicator with both professional and amateur Music-makers, I believe that this is a good move for her and for The Choir. The future of Breakfast does not appear to offer some of us any hope of improvement, and other persenters' names have been forwarded as offering the possibilty that things could get a lot, lot worse.
Welcome to the wonderful world of the Forum, by the way, village organist.
PS salymap's mention of "either Sara[h]" refers to both Sara Mohr-Pietsch and to Sarah Walker (who also presents the Breakfast programme.

It was announced on R3 this morning...by Sarah herself...that she will be quitting Breakfast and becoming the permanent presenter of The Choir.
You may well whistle, you naughty ardcarp!!!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Yes, has to be a woman. The DG has made a comment about 'too few women on BBC breakfast shows'. It's the poison chalice, but as CB-H is already drinking from it ...
But rumour has it she's considering a move to Radio 1 to share with Nick Grimshaw .........
