I had hoped that Canterbury in particular would, when it eventually welcomed girl trebles, regard them with parity with their male peers; but I suppose that any opportunity for girls to share in these responsibilities and grow as part of this community is to be welcomed. Best of luck to Mr Newsholme and to the girls who will eventually be under his leadership. I'll look forward to hearing them one day soon.
