I am sorry to see that ff has apologised to this thread without permitting us to absolve her for her fault.

    But absolved she must be.

Slightly off-topic, but concerning Duruflé: just had a moving experience singing his Ubi Caritas on the roof terrace of his Parisian appartment (located next to 'his' church of Ste-Etienne-du-Mont), followed by the unexpected appearance of the incredibly neat original manuscript of what we'd just sung. Apparently, they're all up there, including the Requiem. Well worth a visit.

Just listened to this and enjoyed it very much. In particular, the chant was uplifting and full of colour, given the masterful accompaniment at the organ. Hats off to Paddy and his team for showing the Catholic music and liturgy at its finest; from solo singing, unison singing to full blooded 7-part singing and with everything in-between, it was in my opinion very fine. Many thanks.
