    An unacceptably slovenly announcement

Philip Sheppard and Guillaume de Machaut have turned into clothes-pegs.

And "Music Played" confuses me. It cannot refer to any instrumentalists, because there are none, are there? And it cannot refer to the playing of any recordings over the wireless, because we read "Live from St Paul's Church" twice. So what is being "played" actually? Can a live broadcast really be said to be "played"?

It's not so much slovenly, as wrong - none of the 'music played' was either played or sung in the course of the broadcast described above the list.

You're lucky they're even referring (however incorrectly) to "music played" rather than "tracks played"...

Strong whiff of troll on this thread.
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
