You're looking rather miserable there Miles. Is it disappointment at the quality of the playlist?

Maybe because angels are Gloria-ous?
And I'm sure there are no angels in Full Fathom Five. Sea-nymphs aren't quite the same really.

I turned on towards the end of the programme, but in time to hear Carl Ruti's Missa Angelorum. I enjoyed it, liked its idiom, and thought the BBC Singers sounded rather better than usual. There was a good solo tenor (just a few bits) and the sops were doing their best to sing quite straight. They were certainly well directed by Stepen Jackson. I could see the piece being quite popular as part of a cathedral/college Eucharist. Does anyone use it?

Very arbitrary bit of programming.
