There has been some interest in what might be considered the most beautiful organ/case in the UK.
I'm not sufficiently familiar with UK instruments to make a judgment, although I would certainly put the Exeter Loosemore well up there. Incidentally, this instrument was not in very good health when I was last there about four years ago and I believe much of it was going back to Harrisons for the necessary work but don't know if this happened.
However, I thought it might be interesting to widen the discussion to include European organs and here there is an absolute riot of contenders. To get the ball rolling, I'm going to suggest Breda whilst reserving the right to change my mind . . . .
