Where, O where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place?

Well for me the biggest mystery is why a 5-page thread about a photo hasn't offered a view of the image!

      Good luck in your search!

Despite egg counter's wild assertions back in #17, he is the sublime fellow boarder who (privately) discovered the true location back on 5th Oct, while the rest of us remained well and truly STUMPED... geddit? Credit too to Rogbi200 who likewise identified it one week later. So, no, not a school or college but a bloomin' tall church. The question remains whether the choir pictured is their own from way back or a visiting one from an all-male foundation.

Interesting that they chose that one then. I've only ever been there once, and didn't get to see the church. Might be worth a detour next time I'm on the A17!

Congratulations to those who identified it!

It's be said before upthread, but how WEIRD of the Beeb to use a totally irrelevant picture.

Well, yes....... but at least they didn't use a pic of an unrobed mixed choir in a Methody chapel!

Not bringing up the Stump again, but another example of crass photo choice. I notice now on the CE webpage a clip of Diana Burrell's O joyful Light from the Drome, broadcast on 21st November, but with a Wabbey photo -
surely a small city like Westminster can't be expected to have two places of worship, let alone with choirs capable of broadcasting. O no, sorry, mea culpa, that's the Vatican I'm thinking of.
