Did you catch that slipped in explanation about the way CE is farmed out in some measure to outside companies? She was not pressed on that and it's a shame that no-one seemed to then move on to the obvious next question as to balance/levels/solos/antiphonal layout and how they handle it, because on CE threads there has been almost as much discussion about the way on-site engineering affects the broadcasts as on the content of each service!

Most of BBC one-time highly respected engineering staff were got rid of - the same guys that provide the dog-racing video etc for the bookies are surely perfectly capable of handling CE ? afterall the clergy don't move as fast.Originally posted by DracoM View PostComment
