Feedback from R3 about recent CE broadcast failures

Just highlighting Radio 4's Feedback programme which, last Friday, discussed the CE broadcast failures of late. Roger Bolton interviewed Christine Morgan, Head of Radio for BBC Religion.

    Many thanks, justmusic
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

      Thanks.

Did you catch that slipped in explanation about the way CE is farmed out in some measure to outside companies? She was not pressed on that and it's a shame that no-one seemed to then move on to the obvious next question as to balance/levels/solos/antiphonal layout and how they handle it, because on CE threads there has been almost as much discussion about the way on-site engineering affects the broadcasts as on the content of each service!

Most of BBC one-time highly respected engineering staff were got rid of - the same guys that provide the dog-racing video etc for the bookies are surely perfectly capable of handling CE ? afterall the clergy don't move as fast.
