I think The Choir section of this Forum may have been originally conceived to feature The Choir (aka. the Aled show). It does tend to get hijacked by the choral evensong mob...of which I plead guilty to membership. However today's The Choir (inconvenient hour, Sunday tea-time) had RRB as its guest, IMO a wonderful writer of choral music and an all-round interesting musician.
The Cambridge Singers, Polyphony and Tenebrae all sang beautifully. The latter did The Season of His Mercies (which I had not heard before). Written for The Kings Singers, Tenebrae's ATB gave a most beautiful and haunting performance of it. Words by John Donne.
(I have refrained from commenting on the other Singers who seem to get a regular spot on the show.)
