I tried Googling the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music to get a wider picture of the event. I found pages from 2010 and 2011 but no comprehensive description of this year's Festival in its entirety...just a concert on Saturday given by The Exsultate Singers. Is that it? Or am I a bad Googler?

Thanks indeed, that's quite reformed my opinion of it. Listening to the CE broadcast over the years I've often been left feeling a bit 'iffy' about the music, but looking at the whole program it's a great mix of familiar and unfamiliar composers. and even something I could happily travel to London to attend. They should publicize more.

Well, not on BBC website, I fear...............nor on the Festival website, and neither is the singing group credited - pick-up group? BBC Singers maybe??
Maybe GJ will know all / some of this as one of his pieces gets first broadcast showing today?

It shouldn't come as a complete surprise to learn that the choir is that of St Pancras Parish Church!

OK, GJ, but it seems a pity that in neither major public forum i.e. BBC nor Festival's own websites is the choir of a broadcast on national radio credited. Seems odd. There are other singing groups who seem not to be the resident St Pancras Choir credited in the Festival programme, and BBC CE always credits its choirs, but in this case...........erm......apparently not.

Well, they acquitted themselves with distinction IMO -- though I was listening in far from perfect conditions. Given the context of a "festival", the service was obviously in contrast to some of the more intimate CEs we have had recently, but the glory is that there's room for both approaches. The Ayres voluntary was an enjoyable conclusion.

At the risk of re-opening old sores, I have to add that the delivery of the opening and closing announcements by KD made me very grumpy. Gabble, gabble, gabble. Radio 3 presentation has GOT to be better than this. And, a sheltered life maybe, but I've never before heard Aquinas pronounced "a-kwee-nas".

Some of my fondest memories involve a series of extremely rapidly-spoken conversations with a female friend between lectures, so I'm not going to bother with pointless arguments re 'gabbling', but KD's pronunciation of Aquinas correctly reflects the name's Italian origin and is, in fact, the only pronunciation I can recall having heard.

Was Truro Cathedral Choir credited by the BBC last week?

The LFCCM is centred on, and originates from, St Pancras Church. Other churches and cathedrals are involved, and it's pretty obvious that, for instance, an Evensong at Westminster Abbey is sung by the Abbey Choir.

Please don't ask for information and then nitpick about it!
