Fake authenticity sounds distinctly suspect to me! I didn't see the programme.

A young lad from a difficult inner city home was taken on an Ocean Youth Club sailing holiday. He stood in the bow, plunging up and down and being covered with spray. He commented, 'Cor, this is just like a real simulator'.
