    Fair enough Draco.

Durham's girls are being recorded on disc this year I believe, and hopefully will get the BBC broadcast next year.

At LAST I've had a chance to listen to the broadcast and must say how much I enjoyed it. Omission in my life but, have to admit I'd never heard those Canticles before but really enjoyed them. I found the Nunc particularly contemplative and gentle. I loved the overall sound, especially enjoyed the Altos' contributions. The boys sounded quite young... Is that so at Durham? I also especially enjoyed the organ registrations throughout, which to my unknowledgeable ear seemed very sympathetic to the voices... Cracking organ voluntary to close too. Thank you everyone at Durham!

Like Anna, I would rate Durham my favourite, if one takes Winchester and Liverpool Anglican out of the equation, since I have personal links with both. I am deeply fond of the Galilee Chapel and felt very close to St Cuthbert and The Venerable Bede when I took quiet time there. All very best. Liz

The removed messages are here and can be read and added to on that thread.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
