Tallis Scholars live on In Tune

Worth a listen. The sops managed to sound Tallis-scholarish despite studio acoustics. The men were perhaps a little more characterful than usual. PP's academic manner was a little at odds with Suz's [?]breezy ditto.

Problem is if anyone is on In Tune, you have to wade neck deep through Rafferty's sycophantic slush to get to them. Some prices are just too high to pay. So if it's someone else like SK doing the MC bit, I never find out because I just don't turn it on to find out!

Yes I noticed the contrast in manners - not a showman in the H Christophers style!

I heard them a year ot two ago in the more flattering acoustic of St David's Cathedral.

Draco, for what it's worth it was the slightly more abrasive Suzy Klein......

They're right at the beginning and then again at about 32 minutes in.

I have tickets to see them in the Sage Gateshead - looking forward to that. I was just listening to their Silver disc today, superb.
